International students in Years 12 & 13 choose any five courses, one of which must be English unless they come from an English speaking country. All courses gain credit towards NCEA (National Certificate in Educational Achievement).
Year 11 students study six courses, which must include English, Science and Mathematics.
Year 10 students follow the core curriculum of Mathematics, English, Science, Social Studies and Physical Education. They also choose any four optional courses from languages, the arts and the technologies.
Year 9 students follow the core curriculum of Mathematics, English, Science, Social Studies and Physical Education and experience introductory courses to 15 options across Arts, Technology and Languages.
